Our Dogs Meet the Pack of RFM Our dogs live in our home, even in our bedrooms. They are more than just pets or part of our program; they are our family. Each dog has a personality, silly traits, and emotions of their own. We love experiencing them together. Upcoming Litters Koa KOA is our deep, dark English RFL! Great grandson of Jumpin' Jack Flash, he carries those great quality genes. If you are looking for a deep red stud you've found him. He has a cuddle bear personality and is happy to sit on your lap wherever you are or to run the trails chasing after your ATV. He just loves his people, especially me, his Mama Bear! Koa will carry his blankie around like a toddler does, laying on the floor and cuddling up with it. If you are interested in stud services, please fill out our contact page with STUD INQUIRY in the subject line. Pedigree Inquiry Nani NANI has grown into a beautiful red lab, and has been one of my most adventurous pups. She is not a follower, she is a born leader. Even though she likes to lead the path, she listens so well and has been easy to train. Nani loves a cuddle these days. A sweet girl, with an old personality. Get on the waitlist for her pups, they will be beautiful with so many variations of red to see. Nani is an English lineage Labrador, with a slender American face. Pedigree Inquiry Duna DUNA an unexpected addition who fits in like we have had her since she was a puppy. Duna is a sweet girl who loves the cuddles and a deep rub down! Her personality is playful, willing, and loyal. She is finally home and totally loved! Duna is a gorgeous and sweet English Labrador. Pedigree Inquiry Oakley OAKLEY is a perfect mix of Duna and Nani. A friend to everyone and LOVES cuddling, but likes lying in her corner of the couch too. Oakley's person is daddy, a.k.a. Roman, and she has him wrapped around her paw. Oakley is sweet, mellow, but knows when its time to play! Pedigree Inquiry Bridger BRIDGER is our bridge to the opposite end of the yellow spectrum. He is such a playful pup! Bridge is handsome and lean, but will sure fill-out as he grows. We can't wait to see what this journey holds. Help me in welcoming Oakley to the Pack! Pedigree Inquiry Outside Studs Timber Beau - Aka Timbo His name suites him well. Just like we named Koa after the red timber tree. Timbo is a gorgeous English Labrador Retriever, with great lines. He is a sweet boy, and his pictures do not do him justice. One of Ambassador Retrievers' studs. We are honored to continue his lineage with our girls. Pedigree Inquiry

Frequently Asked Questions Don Francis Health Testing We health test all of our dogs with Embark so we know what genes our dogs could potentially be passing on. These are available upon request. We want to make sure our studs and females are well taken care of and if we use an outside stud service we check to see if they health test as well and check pedigrees to make sure we can keep safe lines to further our health goals. We do OFA hip and elbow test our dogs, out of standard guidelines. It is still unsure, with conflicting information, whether hip and elbow scorings are an inheritable trait or not. Therefore, take the results with a grain of salt and make your own judgement. We wholehearted believe it is based upon upbringing and environment. Health Testing Inquire OFA Results* Koa Nani Duna How Much Are Your Puppies Red Fox Labs $ 2,000 Base Pricing Mastadors $ 2,000 Why Do They Cost So Much? We health test all our dogs using Embark DNA + breed test. This tests for hundreds of possible diseases and gives us a complete picture of what our dogs look like genetically. We also make sure our studs are tested as well. We also OFA hip & elbow test. See more above about health testing. Our puppies are raised indoors. That means in our home where we sleep, eat and play. Our children get to handle and play with each puppy from the time they're a few days old until they're ready to go home. This almost means lots and lots of clean up. We are cleaning their pens everyday, multiple times a day, especially during the winter seasons when it's too cold for the puppies to be outside. During warmer months, this means puppies get to go outside when it's nice, but someone is outside monitoring them. We also start potty and crate training them as early as 3 weeks old, which explains the multiple clean-ups daily, until they are able to be outside after their first shots at 6 weeks old. Because our puppies are raised in our home, we sleep with them and mom for the first few nights (yes, that means on the floor next to their whelping box in a sleeping bag) to ensure no one gets rolled or laid on. We also wake up with mom to help with nursing for those first few nights to make sure she gets each puppy fed. After those first crucial days, we install a video camera that I can access via my phone whenever we need to leave the house. All this extra time and effort is factored into our cost. We're not just providing you a puppy. We're pouring our hearts and soul into each one of these puppies and we are ensuring they have the best start to an amazing future with your family. Breeding / (Full) Rights are an extra $1,000 and only given to APPROVED families. RF MTn will be your mentor if you do not already have a program running. Don Francis Application Process You may fill out an application at any time. Once applicants have been approved you will be added to the waitlist or will be contacted to choose an available puppy. We will start contacting families on the waitlist when a female is confirmed pregnant . We ask for a $400 deposit to secure your place on the waitlist. Of this deposit, $200 is refundable and $200 is non-refundable - this covers our time in managing your spot. If you need to back out of your spot on the waitlist, you may transfer the whole deposit to another litter within one year. We strive for the best when it comes to the puppy care and bringing puppy home, and we try to make this process as fair and as smooth as possible. We know you're very excited to meet your new family member and we try to do our best in making sure each and every family is satisfied with the puppy they've chosen. If you have any ques tions about the application process please reach out to us. *Please see our available puppy page for upcoming and current litters **I reserve the right to 1st pick each litter, which will always be reserved for me or a breeding/show partner. Picks start at 4 weeks old so that we can get to know you and your family better and at that age we can see the puppies' personalities. We find 4 weeks allows enough time to see the personality and coloring of each puppy start to show. This also gives the pick holders plenty of time to find their favorite puppy. If you would like to meet your puppy in person, puppy visits are open at 6 weeks old, not sooner. This is for the health and safety of the puppy until they have their first vaccinations. We will email, call, or text you (whichever is preferred) when it is your turn to choose your furever friend. Puppy pick-ups will be scheduled after vet checks at 6 weeks of age and pick-ups will be done after puppies are 8 weeks old, NOT sooner, as in our state that is illegal. Puppy Application Our Puppies Care of Pups Coming Home with Pup Standard Puppy Packge I don't know if you have figured it out this far, but we really love our dogs and our puppies! The puppies are raised inside our home with our kiddos, never outside, in a kennel, or barn. It creates more work for us, but we LOVE it! Yes, even the messy bits. We do everything in our home. They are cared for, cleaned and loved all over. This also helps with early neuro-stimulate exposure (fancy way to say we expose the puppies to environmental stimuli to acclimate them to the world easier). We clean the pen daily, multiple times a day usually. They are dewormed every 2 weeks starting at 4 weeks and are seen by our vet (who conveniently comes to our house) for health checks, vaccines, and microchipping. We also start litter-training at 3 weeks old, along with introduction to crate training. Crate training is used as a tool, not a weapon. We want the puppies to understand that crates are a safe place, a place of rest and calmness. This will help when they transition to their new homes. Now I'm sure you want to know what they come home with. Each puppy will come home with a "Getting to Know Puppy" letter, "First Steps" care sheet and AKC paper registration. • Puppy Training | Red Fox Mountain

Training How many of you worry about bringing home a puppy just because you dread the training? We understand the challenges that come with it. We've dedicated our cumulative experience as dog owners and breeder to learning the best ways to help puppies transition smoothly into their new homes. We offer two, 2-week training programs: a Puppy Crate Camp and a Puppy Manner Camp. Puppies who participate in our camps will go home at 10 weeks old. Your puppy will come home with a great foundation and I will walk you and your family through how we execute these skills, so you can continue training at home. Bringing home puppy is a team effort and my job does not stop when you leave. I will be available for questions and concerns along this journey. ** S pots are limited ** At this time w e can only offer training to 4 puppies per litter. If you know you would like to enroll your puppy in one of these training camps please let us know as soon as possible as space is limited. You can add the training anytime before 8 weeks old. However, if you purchase a training camp before puppy picks at 4 weeks, you will receive $500 off camp. Puppy Crate Camp - $1500 ** added cost to puppy ** Puppy crate camp This camp is designed to train your puppy to sleep in a crate by his/herself and to potty-train outside. Our standard practice is to litter-train puppies to the scent of the outdoors, but our puppies do not go outdoors until they are vaccinated. This could be a week before they leave, giving little time with outdoor experience. By extending their stay for an additional 2 weeks we provide them with the extra experience before coming home. We do this in a few ways.... 1. Puppies sleep in their own personal crate with stuffy and blanket that smells like mom and siblings. ** Personal crate comes home with puppy at the end of training and is included in the cost of Puppy Crate Camp 2. Playtime time-outs - extended crate time in calm manner 3. Praising and feeding in crate. What will my puppy be able to do when they come home? 1. Sleep through the night for minimum of 6 hours, and stay in crate peacefully for 2-3 hour periods of time throughout the day. 2. Know their name 3. Know designated potty location (outside/ a designated door) 4. Climb stairs What to expect when they come home? This is a foundation training course to help minimize some of the stress in potty and crate training by giving your puppy a head-start in the basics. They will understand there is a designated spot to go potty (i.e, outside) by going to a designate door. This does not mean they will be fully potty trained by 10 weeks old. Puppies are not typically fully potty trained until at least 16 weeks old. Our goal is to have only 1-2 accidents a day. While this may seem like a lot, puppies typically need to go potty every 30-40 minutes. This camp will also give you a schedule for your puppy to maintain at home. By keeping this routine, we typically see our puppies accident-free within 3 weeks of being home. Your puppy will also understand that their crate is their safe space. They will learn to enter it calmly and will be content to eat, sleep and nap without hysterics. While they may still whine a bit, we will train them that the hysterics are not acceptable behavior. Your puppy will know that when they are released from their crate, they go straight outside to potty - re-enforcing their potty training. Puppy Manner Camp - $2500 ** added cost to puppy ** Puppy manne camp This camp is designed to train you puppy to sleep in a crate by his/herself, to potty-train outside, and learn basic command skills and manners. We do this in a few ways... 1. Puppy sleeps in his/her own personal crate with stuffy and blanket that smells like mom and siblings. ** Personal crate comes ho me with puppy at the end of training and is included in the cost of Puppy Manner Camp 2. Praising and feeding in crate. 3. Playtime time-outs - extended crate time in calm manner 4. 15 minute command sessions throughout the day, with a minimum of 4 sessions a day 5. Practicing leash manners while also reinforcing outdoor potty-training. What will my puppy be able to do when they come home? 1. Same skills as Crate Camp 2. Know basic commands: sit, come, off, recognize positive corrector, drop it, "bed"/crate location 3. Basic house manners, i.e. no begging with family eats, no jumping when guests enter home 4. Basic leash manners, i.e. calmly putting on leash, no pulling on leash What to expect when they come home? This training course includes the same potty and crate training as the Crate Camp listed above, but also includes basic house and leash manners. In this course, your puppy will learn basic commends in a low distraction environment such as sit, off, come, drop it, and bed/crate location. While your puppy will understand these commands, they will need reinforcement at home where there are more distractions. They will learn basic house manners such as not begging for food while their humans are eating, whether it be sitting calmly in their crate or ignoring the food all together; and they will greet guests without jumping. Leash manners are also a part of this training and includes teaching your puppy to sit calmly while the leash is put on and learning to walk short distances without pulling. After reading through the Camp descriptions, if you still have more questions we can schedule a call. Let's make puppy's transition home enjoyable! Message us

  • Red fox lab, About Us | Red Fox Mountain | Robesonia

ABOUT US The Lehmans Hi there, I'm Beca, and welcome to the mountain. This is my family. We are blessed to live on a mountain with lots of trees and places to roam. Our kids are a little mix of homebodies and adventurers. The kids are excellent helpers when it comes to raising the pups. The hubby is even getting his hands in on the process of caring for the pups. I love how much caring for these animals shapes our kids and teaches them about life and responsibility. Our goal is to produce healthy puppies that are loving, well trained, and ready for great homes. Homegrown Effect I was raised in the boondocks of PA and know the wooded life. I love seeing deer as we sit out on our back deck and how we can grow our own garden on the sloped hill of our yard. I love how these homegrown habits translate into my kids' lives and help us appreciate what we have more! We all love on these puppies and you can see that when they come home; how they have been socialized and integrated into family living. We invite you to come check out how we raise, care and honor our home.

The Full Story Breed Information This page is a great opportunity to learn the background on the different breeds we raise and what they have to offer you and your family. Labrador Retriever The Labrador Retriever has spent the last quarter-century in the top spot for popularity according to the American Kennel Club. Due to their loyalty, lovability, gentleness, and patience this breed is by far second to none! As puppies they need exercise mentally and physically, routine, and love. Training these dogs is on the easier side, as these dogs are smart and love to please! No one is quite sure when the first Fox Red Labrador debuted, but it has always been much more uncommon than other Labs. English Cream Labs range from near-ivory shade to a creamy light yellow, as a result, both these shades of dogs are typically more expensive than other Labrador Retrievers. The AKC recognizes the red and cream coats as a very dark or very light shade of yellow. As there are only three true shades of Lab coats, Black, Chocolate, and Yellow. *Note- Red Fox puppy coat's will darken for the first 2 years. The cross results in a large and playful gentle giant. Their temperaments are a good mix from both parent breeds; calm, trainable, and compassionate. Early training and socialization are key to any breed, but are a must for the Mastador breed due to their guardian nature and size, and will become territorial and over protective if not socialized. At Red Fox Mountain we breed 1st generation (F1) Mastadors, which means we breed our purebred Lab to a purebred English Mastiff. This will result in puppies that are all black with possible white markings.
